Under this program, in the unlikely event of a product defect, Toshiba will replace the product, generally within five to ten business days. The Replacement Program is only available to end users who have purchased a Toshiba Storage Product for personal or business use, and not for resale.

The product must be received by Toshiba within fifteen 15 calendar days from the date the RMA was issued. The end user will receive a replacement product generally within five to ten business days of Toshiba's receipt and validation of the warranty for the malfunctioning product.

No credit card is needed to secure the replacement product. Toshiba suggests the method of shipment be Federal Express, UPS or another freight carrier which tracks individual shipments.

The customer is responsible for the shipment costs and Toshiba does not assume responsibility for the product during shipment from the customer's site to Toshiba. The Toshiba Apprenticeship Program TAP is a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction under the supervision of a "journey" or master level trade professional. Program participants can expect to learn the skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment as a machinist, maintenance welder, maintenance mechanic, or quality control technician. TAP participants will be paid a progressively increasing schedule of wages consistent with the skills acquired.

Toshiba offers internships in several concentrations including engineering, sales, accounting, marketing, human resources, and legal. Interns learn about their field of interest through work experiences designed to help them expand career options, learn about work culture at Toshiba, and develop new job skills.

Internships may combine college curriculum with on-the-job learning experiences for beginning, changing, or advancing in a career, or moving ahead in a major.
