No antivirus software was installed at the time I installed SP3. Windows is and was in control of the wireless card the whole time. Hope this provides you with enough information.

I have Windows 7 systems which connected immediately after asking for the security key. I connect with an ethernet cable to the router and let device manager search for an updated driver but it reported that I have the latest. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I would add however: Have the wireless adapter software CD inserted into your CD drive before starting the install from Device Manager. From the menu bar choose Action, then click "scan for new hardware". Windows should search and find the drivers on the cd.
